Yom Tov Jewelry is not just jewelry, there is much more behind the name! Let me introduce you to who I am, what inspires me, and where the idea for the jewelry store came from.

My name is Salome and since childhood I have been interested in everything related to art, so I quickly set off on my journey of discovery in this diverse world. Wherever I go, I observe and look for inspiration that touches me in the most diverse ways: people, the works of special artists, nature, locations, a moment… I always find something new! During my travels, I have gained a lot of ideas from places such as Israel, America, Indonesia, the Far East, Italy, Spain, the Greek Islands, the English countryside… But of course, you don’t have to travel far, as you can find inspiration anywhere, even in your own home. As a mother of 3 children, I have truly experienced many surprises and new things.

These inspirations are not only memories, but also tools, because for me, creation means self-expression. I have moved in many creative directions, both in hair and makeup, in film circles and in salon work, but in recent years I have been able to develop myself most in the field of miniature painting. I have been involved in nail design for more than 12 years. By now, many of you have probably guessed why the name sounds so familiar: I create my works of art in my own studio, Yom Tov Nail Art. My main specialty is “inspirational nails”, which can best be described as spontaneously inspired designs. The result is not a pre-planned, existing image, but a painting, object, photo (or even the clothes you are currently wearing!) brought by the guest, which inspires a new, unique image.

This style and personality are the hallmarks of my jewelry, which I have selected myself and reflect who I am: the diversity, spontaneity and different styles that interest me so much: classic, clean, modern, unconventional and authentic pieces. This is the world I love.

And finally: what does Yom Tov mean?

‘Yom Tov’ means: good day. The chosen name is a kind of tribute to the memory of my late great-grandmother, Róza Yomtov. In addition to the personal connection to these two lovely words, it also expresses my hope that when you wear the jewelry you buy from us, that day can only be a "good day" for you! :)
